At Bar Ten Kennel we train retrievers for full time field trial competition and hunt test. Using proven programs and methods developed over the years by some of the nations best trainers, we are able to adapt to and meet the specific needs of you and your retriever on an individual basis. From puppy to finished dog.

Teaching is the key. By believing in and starting with a solid basics program, we can tailor a program for you and your retriever, providing the fundamentals to transition into a polished hunter / hunt test dog to an all age field trial competitor.

With our home training grounds, featuring excellent natural and enhanced training ponds, and access to several other properties locally, we can always present a variety of different training situations for retrievers of all ages and skill levels. At the end of the day, our kennels ensure the best care and comfort during your dog's stay.

Winter (late January thru April) training grounds are in Texas on 1400 acres of beautiful ranch land with over a dozen technical and natural water settings.

Training Fees – $ 750.00 per month
(includes all birds and monthly Heartguard Plus and Frontline Plus)

Boarding - $ 12.00 per day

Breeding (Bitch Fee) $25.00 per breeding + $12.00 per day boarding

Proof of vaccination (including Bordatella) is required on all dogs prior to check in.
