Owners / Operators Bart and Nola Peterson.  We are now offering dog boarding and custom retriever training at one of the Central Plains finest facilities, featuring a new state of the art kennel.  Set on 125 acres of rolling hills prairie in the beautiful Platte River Valley.  We are conveniently located 3 miles off of Interstate 80, between Cozad and Lexington Nebraska.

Our kennel is designed and built for your dogs comfort and cleanliness during his/her stay, with large spacious indoor/outdoor runs, climate control with superb ventilation, an exercise yard and available privacy kennels.  Nebraska Dept. of Ag Licensed.

Since 1997 we have been training retrievers for hunting dogs, hunt tests and AKC Field Trial Competition.  From puppies to advance trial competitions, our unique property with its natural and enhanced settings provide many types of training situations, tailored to your retriever's needs.  We've been a member of Professional Retriever Training Association, (PRTA) since 2000.

We occasionally have AKC Labrador puppies and either started or finished dogs are available for purchase.  We select from the finest Field Bloodlines for breeding and only sires / dams with proper genetics and health clearances are accepted.  Any puppy / dog purchased from Bar Ten Kennel is accompanied by written health guarantees to certify they will be free of genetic health defects. ***  (For more information on these go to our section puppies or started / trained dogs).
